Happy Halloween, ya feaks!

For the first time in MONTHS I have had a few days where there was nothing that HAD to be done right away. So, I took a couple days off to slack.

First time in a decade I've made a jack-o-lantern! My friend Christina turned me on to these fake carvable pumpkins. They rock. No pumpkin guts, no slime, no rotting pumpkin after a few days. Next year I'm getting one and I'm going to get some better tools....sharper thinner bladed knife and a dremil tool....and I'm going to do something really cool.




AND....I finally got my new printer/scanner/copier! The last new one was a real piece. In fact when I called to talk to them about returning it i told the manager it had just been delivered a few days prior, he sez "Uhhh...you JUST bought this? Had it delivered? And it was such-n-such model?? Those are discontinued. I don't even know why they shipped it out."

Anyway, got the new machine, set it up and everything works GREAT! Canon PIXMA MP780.....

Random junk....

My back hurts like crazy. Lower back, off to the side a bit...almost feels more like I got a solid punch in the kidney. It's slowly going away.

Issue #3 of Dead Men Tell No Tales is now out of my hands! One more issue to go and the mini is complete.

Had to buy a new printer...it finally arrived. It's going back because it sucks.

Do you ever wonder who reads your blog? Do you sometimes think about posting something, only to stop yourself because you worry who might read it? Am I the only one so paranoid that they worry people who don't even know you HAVE a blog will find it??

As you can see by the post below, it looks like Nothingface finally has a colorist!!

Still searching for a Nothingface colorist...looking for a style like 100 Bullets coloring. There IS pay....but it's INDY pay. For clarification, since many people seem to have trouble with the concept of "indy pay", IF I COULD AFFORD THE RATES YOU'D EXPECT TO GET FROM A BIG PUBLISHER I'D BE HIRING THE PEOPLE THEY USE.

Long time no post!! It's been busy and a little chaotic around here....lettering jobs and having work done on the house. So, there's my excuse! ;)

Only one piece of news to report at the moment...the most recent artist to sign up for some Nothingface duty! Lee Ferguson! Artist on such projects as X-Men Icons: Chamber (Marvel), Mr Keen (Moonstone), Freak (Image), and X-Men Unlimited (Marvel)!

I'm done! Trailer Park Halloween Special #2 is long done and off to the printer and Lost Squad #2 is done but for any last minute tweaks and then uploading the final files. This means....I HOPE...that this upcoming week will be all about WRITING!!

Now, I'm off to watch football...or take another nap...or maybe watch some of the "new season" TV I recorded these past couple weeks.


[Edit: I'd like t point out that it did NOT take from the time of my previous post until today to finish Lost Squad! Chris was revamping some script so when I got started I only had the first seven pages done and then had to wait. I'm not THAT slow. I did 19 of 26 pages yesterday!]
