Yeah, I'm alive...
Had to take some time off. Having trouble with my wrist, stressing out and going through some personal ups-n-downs so I figured I needed some time to just veg. Watched a lot of DVDs, slept in as much as I could. Didn't fix any of the problems but now I have the energy to get back in there and deal with them.
Just finished up a two page tryout for a lettering gig...hope I get it, it looks like a really cool book. Monday I'll be finishing up the last half of Drunken Money: Origin #1. As long as Rich doesn't mind, I'll post a few non-spoiler panels or something.
Just wanted to post SOMETHING to let everyone know I'm still kicking. Maybe soon, with a little luck (I'm about due), I'll have some good news on other fronts as well!
Two of my very favorite action flicks of all time!! (Got to see #2 for the first time during my "break".) Jason Statham rocks! He's the role model for Sgt McGregor in The Black Watch series I'm doing. Hell, I'd even LOVE to see him play Novak from Nothingface even though he looks totally different. The boy is just a badass, man!!

Glad to see you back in blog land, Kel! Man, what I wouldn't give to take some time to veg.
Sorry to hear about the downs going on in your life but I'm sure that it will all work itself out. Just think about all the comic book goodness that will take place for you in 2006!
Hey.... are you going to SDCC?
No SDCC for me. Too much money flying out of Alaska...and I don;t travel well anyway. Messed up knee, bad back, etc. Maybe someday...especially since that seems to be where you need to go to get a movie deal. ;)
Statham would rock as Nothingface! I just grabbed Transporter 2, haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but I expect it to be just as good as the first!
Transporter 2 has one or two spots that go beyond the "that's bloody unlikely but cool" of the first one into the "well, that's just about silly" range but I still loved it!
Now, how do we get him behind the idea of a Nothingface movie???
The Transporter is a kick ass movie. I really enjoy Jason Stratham, he is a perfect choice for the role.
Hmmmm....wonder if I should try hiring Cat over at the DW forum to do a Statham as Novak mock Nothingface cover. After seeing her Star Wars and Firefly stuff i was blown away by both the actor likeneses and a cool factor of her designs.
